Mike Hodge
Class of '88
Mike Hodge is a 1988 graduate of Mukwonago High School. While at Mukwonago he earned six varsity letters, football (2), wrestling (2), track & field (2).
In football Mike was a standout. The 1987 team won the conference championship and was a state semi-finalist. Following the 1987 season Mike was named to the Braveland Conference as well as Waukesha County First Team, both on offense and defense. He also received First Team All State honors both as an offensive tackle and defensive tackle.
In wrestling Mike was a two time regional heavyweight champion. His senior year he was also a conference champion and placed sixth at the state meet.
Throughout Mike’s high school career Mike was an avid strength trainer which helped him achieve his athletic success.
Beyond MHS Mike went on to play football at Southeast Missouri State University where he started in 43 games over four years and earned All-Conference honors as well as MVP awards.
Mike has continued his weightlifting and holds many regional, national, and international titles. He has benched pressed over 700 lbs.!
Mike Hodge certainly left his “bench” mark at MHS and beyond.
