John Spielmann

    John Spielmann was hired as Mukwonago's first varsity boy's soccer coach in 1982.

    John's extensive knowledge and background of the game includes being a member of the U.S. National Junior Team, Olympic Team, the 1976 U.S. National Amateur Cup Championship Team, and it includes receiving various state honors.

    As head coach of the boys' program from 1982 through 1991, his overall record was 98 wins, 78 losses, and 23 ties.

    In his current position as girls' head coach since 1990, his overall record is 163 wins, 110 losses, and 21 ties.  This includes trips to state in 1992, 1994, and 2000.

    Teams that John has coached throughout the years exhibit aggressiveness, competitiveness, and a mature attitude, including the highest level of sportsmanship.

    In 1998 Coach Spielmann was inducted into the Wisconsin Soccer Association Hall of Fame.
