Harry "Nordy" Nordentoft

    Harry Nordentoft came to Mukwonago in 1967 as a head wrestling coach, head track coach and an assistant football coach from Burlington, Illinois where he coached and taught for six years.

    From 1976-1996, Harry coached the gymnastics teams to a 177-16 dual record, he won 12 conference titles, his teams qualified for state 14 times, and won state championships in 1992 and 1994.  "Team unity" was a trademark of teams coached by Harry.

    From 1987-1991, Harry coached girls' golf.  In 1987 the team finished second in the state tournament.

    In 1986, Harry was named National High School Gymnastics Coach of the Year and was named to the Wisconsin Gymnastics Hall of Fame in 1997.
