Dennis Herbst

    Dennis Herbst graduated from Mukwonago High School in 1986, where he earned eight letters in three sports and was captain of both the track and football teams.

    As a dash man for the Indians, Dennis was a key member of a talented track team that captured the Sectional meet crowns in both 1985 and 1986. Dennis qualified for the State meet in three events, and was a member of the school record 400 meter relay team that placed third in State both of those years.

    Dennis also received All-State recognition in football as both a running back and a defensive back. He averaged over nine yards per carry his senior year as a running back, and was selected to play in the Shrine Bowl High School All Star Football game as a defensive back.

    Dennis went on to earn a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Physical Education from WU-Whitewater, where he was a four-year letter winner and All-Conference defensive back for the Warhawks’ football team.
