
Sherrie Kohnke (Williams)

Sherrie attended
Mukwonago
High School from 1982 –
1985. Her high school athletic
career is marked by outstanding achievements in both track and gymnastics.
Representing the Indians in the highly competitive Class A conference,
Sherrie earned 7 varsity letters and numerous athletic accomplishments during
her four years.
In track Sherrie was the Most Improved (1983),
Most Valuable Player and Team Captain (1985), State qualifier in the 4x100
(1984, 1985), and State qualifier in the 100 hurdles (1985).
Sherrie set a school record in 1986 for the 300 hurdles (35.7 sec) and a
school record in the 100 high hurdles in 1986 (14.8 sec.).
In gymnastics Sherrie was the Most Improved
(1982), Most Valuable Player and Team Captain (1984, 1985), State Team Qualifier
(member) in 1982, 1984 & 1985, Individual qualifier on the floor and vault in
1985 and set a school record for the vault in 1986 which stood until 2011 (9.5).
Sherrie left a proud and distinguished
athletic legacy at Mukwonago High School, setting the bar high for
future student-athletes to aspire to.
After graduating from
Mukwonago
High School in 1985, Sherrie went on to
attend the University
of Wisconsin-Whitewater
where she successfully participated in varsity gymnastics and track.
Sherrie graduated from the University of Wisconsin
– Whitewater in 1990, majoring in both Graphics Design and Public Relations.
She has worked for Johnson Controls, Inc. since 1998 and is currently the
Director of Executive Visit Centers.
In this role, Sherrie is responsible for setting the strategic direction and
delivery of Johnson Controls’ global customer centers and events.
She currently serves as a board member of the Association for Briefing
Program Managers (ABPM). Sherrie
also actively volunteers at the Neighborhood House of Milwaukee, an organization
dedicated to improving the lives of youth in urban
Milwaukee
through social, educational, and recreational program.
Sherrie currently resides in Delafield, Wisconsin
with her husband Paul, fourteen year old stepson, Steven, and five year old son,
Nathan.
