Beth Ohm (Ivey)
Class of 1994

     Throughout Beth’s high school athletic career she received 9 varsity letters; 2 in tennis, 3 in basketball, and 4 in track & field.  Beth was awarded Mukwonago’s Female Athlete of the Year award, as well as Southeastern Conference Basketball Player of the Year, Journal-Sentinel Basketball All Star Team, All Waukesha County Basketball Player of the Year, 1st Team All Conference (basketball), 1st Team All Area (basketball), and she represented Southern Wisconsin in the State All Star game in Madison, WI.  Beth was also a two time state 100 meter hurdle qualifier, and one time shot put qualifier earning 2nd place at the State track and field meet in 1994.  Beth has held the Mukwonago girls shot put record for the past 17 years.

   Beth attended the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse where she competed in Track & Field as a heptahlete.  She graduated in 1998 with a B.S. in Exercise and Sport Science.

   Beth current lives in Elkhorn, Wisconsin with her husband of 12 years, Michael Ivey and three beautiful daughters, Madison (10), Dillyn (8), and Grace (7).  Beth has worked as a physical education teacher for 10 years as well as coaching numerous sports; field hockey, swimming, basketball, and track & field.

   Beth would like to thank the dedication of her parents in her successes; Richard and Holly Ohm, brother Eric Ohm, and all her coaches and teachers. . . . in particular; Bruce Lammers, Ted Bachhuber, Norm Bronson, Ken Piaro, Jerry Bethke, and Harry Nordentoft, and outstanding teammates for being part of her journey as an athlete and human being.
