            Rick Brost is being inducted into the MHS Athletic Hall of Fame for his distinguished service to the athletic program. Rick graduated from MHS earning three varsity letters, one in track and two in baseball.

            But Rick is most notably being recognized for his service to the MHS football program.  Rick started taking defensive football stats for Coach Enright while still in high school.

            After Coach Enright retired and Coach Hensler took over as head football coach, Rick stayed on taking play by play stats.  After Coach Hensler retired, Rick stayed on with Coach Schulte.  Rick has done the stats for MHS football for over 30 years never accepting any compensation. He states, “There is no place in the fall that I would rather be on a Friday night than at a Mukwonago Indian football game.

            Rick has been married to wife, Cindy, for 18 years.  They have four children, Joe Lang 21 (stepson), Beca 16, Amber 13, and Ricky 10.

            Rick has worked for the US Postal Service since June of 1981.  He acknowledges MHS coaches Asmann, Ackerman, Dahle, Douglas, Enright, Hensler, Hoagland, “Nordy”, Smith and Swan.
