Norman Bronson
Coach
Norm is a graduate and multi-sport athlete of East Troy High School (1969). He played football and baseball at UW-Whitewater (BSE 1973, MSE 1978). Norm and his wife Marsha have three children, Bridgette, Shannon and Lindsey.
Norm has been teaching and coaching in Mukwonago since 1983. He had previously taught and coached at Menomonee Falls for nine years. Coaching duties have included boys basketball, girls softball, boys baseball, Parkview flag football, and girls basketball at the 8th grade and varsity level. He also played baseball with the Mukwonago Lakers for many years.
Girls basketball has been very successful during his time. Coach Bronson has a 68% winning record (275-131 record). He has been the Waukesha County Coach of the Year three times (1994, 1997, 2002); Milwaukee Area Coach of the year (2003); sent teams to State three years in a row (2001-2003); coached in the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association All-Star game three times (1991, 2000, and the head coach in 2001); sent 15 players to participate in the WBCA All-Star games; four Conference Championships, numerous 8th grade championships; and several Conference Sportsmanship Awards.
Many lasting friendships have been formed through the years and Norm would like to thank all of his coaches, administrators, parents, and the community for the opportunity to represent Mukwonago in the athletic arena.
