Greg Peterson
Class of '80

     Greg Peterson is a 1980 graduate of Mukwonago High School.  While at MHS, he competed in three sports, cross country, basketball and track earning ten varsity letters.

     In 1980 Greg was awarded the “Outstanding Senior Male Athlete of the Year” award.

     As a four year letter winner in track, Greg was MVP and captain of the 1980 squad.  In 1979 and 1980, he finished in first place at the Southern Lake Conference meet in the 880 yard run and as a member of the mile relay team.

     In basketball, Greg was a three year letter winner.  Greg was named MVP in the 78-79 and 79-80 seasons and  was also team captain.  In the 79-80 seasons he was named to the Southern Lakes All-Conference 2nd team.

     In cross country, Greg was a three year letter winner.  Greg was named MVP and captain of the 1979 team.  He placed first at the Southern Lakes Conference meet.

     Greg credits his successes to the dedicated leadership of Coaches Jerry Swan and Rod Vick.

     Greg continued academics after graduation from MHS.  In 1984, he completed a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Michigan Technological University.  Greg works and resides within the Milwaukee area.  He continues to enjoy athletics by competing in basketball, volleyball, softball and local runs.
